Merrifield SCIF Expansion

This project is a 600-SF design-build expansion of an existing SCIF in a secure government building, which included foil for RF shielding, STC 50 walls, ACT ceilings, STC and RF shielded door(s). Cooper self-performed framing, drywall, flooring, ACT ceiling, doors, door-frame hardware, painting, demolition, fireproofing, structural framing, security mesh, sound batt, sound dampening GWB, RF shielding foil, SCIF lock Kaba Mas X-10, RF shielded doors and hardware. Additional HVAC mechanical was also incorporated into the expansion for proper temperature control in new space.
