This project consisted of design-build services for the relocation of the KID Museum from 6400 Democracy Blvd, Bethesda to a new location at 3 Bethesda Metro Station in Downtown Bethesda, Maryland. This 16,000-SF design-build project is the interior fit-out of the 3 Bethesda Metro space, converting the space from Class A Office Space to a Career Technology Education (CTE) space. The new Build-out included Maker Studio and Laboratory spaces for wood shop, electronics, media, technology, culinary, and arts. The project also included the build-out of Suite 100. The suite 100 build-out was interior renovation of 7,100 SF of existing office space to a new office suite layout. The work included building systems upgrades, new storefront offices, finishes, lighting, and technology.
